Tskhovrebova, Olga Dmitrievna

Born August 17, 1926 in the village. Mskhleb Dzau region.

Education :

• elementary school c. Mskhleb (study 1932-1936)
• Tskhinvali Secondary School No. 2 (final exams were taken externally in 1942);
• North Ossetian Pedagogical Institute , Department of History (1942);
• Faculty of Philology, Stalinir (South Ossetian) State Pedagogical Institute, specialty teacher of Russian language and literature, diploma with honors (1947);
• graduate school of Tbilisi State University, specialty theory and history of pedagogy (study 1947-1950).

In 1971 she defended her thesis on the topic: “The History of Public Education in South Ossetia from 1921 to 1941” (1971). In September 1977, by the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission of the USSR, the assignment of the academic title of assistant professor. By the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation of May 17, 1995, the academic title of professor in the department of pedagogy and psychology was awarded.

A participant in the war, since June 1943 a scout in the Komsomol detachment of partisans of the Dzhava region (Kudargoma).

Labor activity at the Stalinist (South Ossetian) State Pedagogical Institute :

• since November 1944, secretary-typist and methodologist of the correspondence department,
• since September 1950, assistant, since June 1956, a senior lecturer at the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology,
• since January 1961 Department of Pedagogy and Psychology,
• since November 1973, assistant professor of pedagogy and psychology,
• since October 1993 and. about. professors of the department of pedagogy and psychology,
• since August 1998 and. about., from September 1999 the head of the department of pedagogy and psychology.
• since 2004 professor of the department.

She died on March 21, 2018.

Rewards:

• For her dedicated and fruitful work in the field of public education, by order of the Ministry of Education of the Georgian SSR of February 22, 1963, she was awarded the badge "Excellence in Public Education".
• For the long-term conscientious work on behalf of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on September 4, 1987 she was awarded the Veteran of Labor medal.
• By the Decree of the President of the Republic of South Ossetia of November 13, 1998, he was awarded the title “Honored Worker of Science of the Republic of South Ossetia” for great services in scientific and pedagogical activity and many years of conscientious work.
• By the decision of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of South Ossetia, she was awarded the badge “Honorary Worker of Higher Professional Education”.
