Biography
Since childhood, torn between music, which showed a clear talent and sea romance. In the end, he graduated from the Caspian College and chose service in the navy. Since 1957 - in the North. He served for more than three decades, repeatedly passed the Northern Sea Route from Severomorsk to Vladivostok, was in voyages in the area of Novaya Zemlya. Tried to combine the service with the creation of songs. Higher musical education received in absentia. The creativity and professional biography of the composer turned out to be connected with the name of A. Pakhmutova . From 1985 he taught at the music school in Murmansk. He did not lose contact with the fleet even after his retirement, often met with sailors and was on the jury of music competitions.
He was buried at the New Murmansk cemetery (right side, sector 3) [1] .
