Biography
In 1982 she graduated from Vilnius University , Romano-Germanic Philology. She studied under the public administration program at the Monterrey Institute for International Studies under the Chivening Diplomacy and Security Studies program at Birmingham University . Ms. Murmokaitė speaks English, French, Italian, Lithuanian and Russian.
She worked for 20 years at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, where she held the posts of the Head of the Western European Department and the Department of Policy Planning, as well as the Director of the Department for America, Africa, Asia and Oceania and the Special Ambassador at the Office of the Minister.
