Tumsoy [1] ( Chech. Tumsoy ) is a Chechen taip that has its name from the forefather named Tumso. Since ancient times, the Tumsoevites had their own range in the mountainous region of Chechnya on the border of the present Shatoi and Itumkalinsky districts . Historically, their taip territory is Mount Tumsoy-Lam and the adjacent places of Tumso (Tumsoy), Borzoi ( Borzoi ) and Reduha (Reduha).

History
In a document in 1647, the Tumtsoev tavern in Shibutsk land was named. That is, the Taipa settlement is a tumus [2] .
