“Feel the Love” is a song from the English drum and base band Rudimental , featuring the vocals of British singer John Newman , released as the second single from Home's debut album. The single received platinum certification in Australia, the UK and New Zealand and reached number one on the UK chart. ^[1] The track was selected on March 29, 2012 on BBC Radio 1 by radio DJ Zane Lowe as the Hottest Record in the World ^[2] .

History

In the UK, “Feel the Love” debuted at No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart in the week of June 9, 2012 with a print run of 93.841 copies. The single became the first charttopper for the 41-year history of the label Asylum Records . ^[3] In the second week, the track fell to fourth place, having an additional circulation of another 51.974 copies ^[4] . The song spent 11 consecutive weeks in the top ten UK top 10 , leaving it for the 12th week, falling from No. 9 to No. 16 ^[5] . The circulation of the track was 619,000 copies in 2012, which allowed it to become the 16th most successful bestseller of the year ^[6] .

The official music video (filmed in Philadelphia, USA ) was uploaded April 12, 2012 to the YouTube channel ^[7] .
