Biography and career
Jeanne Elaine Sakata was born on April 8, 1954 in Santa Cruz ( California , USA ). On July 3, 1976, she is married to Tim Patterson.
Among her works are supporting roles in episodes of such television series as Silent Wharf , LA Law , Port Charles , Providence , Ambulance , Desperate Housewives and many others. Her first appearance on the big screen took place in 1992 in the erotic thriller “ Poison Ivy ”. In 2005, she played a secondary role as a reporter in the action movie “ Three X 2: New Level ”.
Sakata has played in many theater productions, often working with East West Players (EWP) in Los Angeles . In 2002, she won the Ovation Awards in the nomination “The best actress of the first plan in the play” for her work in the production of Chey Yu “Red” [1] . In 2007, her first own theater production, Dawn: The Journey of Gordon Hirabayashi , took place at EWP [2] . Later, the play was reassigned to “Stick to these truths” [3] .
