Biography
Born on November 23, 1931 in the village of Vargaduyz, Yardimli district of the Azerbaijan SSR.
Since 1948 - a worker, since 1949 - the team leader of the integrated brigade of the construction department No. 11 of the construction trust No. 1, the city of Sumgait.
Sujayat Novruzov was one of the first to come to the construction of a new city on the shores of the Caspian Sea - the city of Sumgait. The team participated in the construction of a textile factory, a knitwear factory, and a chemical plant. An integrated team led by Sujayat Novruzov achieved good results when fulfilling the plan of the eleventh five-year plan for the construction of the EP-300 installation of the Sumgait Synthetic Rubber Plant. The brigade executed the plan of the eleventh five-year plan in October 1983. The 1983 annual plan was completed at 127.2 percent.
By a resolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and the Council of Ministers of the USSR of November 7, 1983 , the State Prize of the USSR was awarded to Novruzov Sujayat Mamish oglu for a great personal contribution to the implementation of a through-line brigade contract in construction.
He actively participated in the public life of Azerbaijan. Member of the CPSU since 1968.
