Geography
The village is located 15 km east from the center of the settlement of Denyatino and 34 km north-east from the town of Melenki .
History
The village was first mentioned in the salary books of 1676 as a part of the Proshenitsky parish , then it had 1 yard of landowners, 4 peasant yards and 4 bobyls' [2] .
At the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, the village was part of the Papulinsky volost of Melenkovsky district , since 1926 - as part of the Murom district . In 1859 [3] there were 21 courtyards in the village, in 1905 [4] - 55 courtyards, in 1926 [5] - 71 courtyards.
Since 1929, the village has been part of the Gorodishchensky Village Council of the Melenkovsky District , since 1940 - as a part of the Prosenitsky Village Council , since 1954 - as a part of the Papulin Village Council , since 2005 - as a part of the Dinyatin rural settlement .
