Description
It is located on the right bank of the Ik River, 7 km south of Muslumovo , 75 km southeast of Naberezhnye Chelny and 265 km from Kazan .
There is an access road (through the village of Salauz-Mukhan ) from the Muslyumovo- Aktanysh highway and a dead end road to the east to the village of Tatarskaya Smylivka .
In the village there is an elementary school, club, library [1] .

History
The village was founded in the first half of the 18th century. Until the 1860s In terms of estates , residents were divided into teppers and state peasants . At the beginning of the 20th century, a mosque and madrassas functioned. In 1916, the Zemstvo library was opened [1] .
Until 1920, the village was part of the Novo-Shugan volost of the Menzelinsky district of the Ufa province . Since 1920, as part of the Menzelinsky canton of TASSR . From 08/10/1930 in the Muslyumovsky district - with the exception of the period from 02/01/1963 to 01/11/1965, when the district was abolished and the village was transferred to Sarmanovsky district [1] .
The name comes from the word "Chakmak", translated in flint .
