Josue Brachi Garcia (Spanish: Josué Brachi García, born September 8, 1992 , Seville , Spain ) is a Spanish weightlifter in the weight category up to 56 kg. European Champion (2018). Winner of the European Championships. Member of the Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro .

Biography
Josue Brachi Garcia was born on September 8, 1992 in Seville. Josue's father is Juan Carlos, a former Spanish weightlifter. Initially, I wanted to play football, but at the age of 13 I became interested in weightlifting.

European Champion among youths (2012, 2014), silver medalist at the Youth World Championship (2012).
In 2010 he made his debut at an adult level. At the European Championships in Minsk, he became 11th in the category up to 56 kg.
Member of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
In 2018, he won gold at the European Championships in Bucharest , becoming the first Spaniard European champion in weightlifting among men.
Lives in Seville, stands for the sports club CD San Pablo .
