Kim Joon Ok ( cor. 김준옥 ? , 金俊玉 ? , Born June 25, 1935 , Hwanhe-Namdo ) is a North Korean animator . He works at the Korean animated film studio named after April 26th .

Biography
Born in Hwanghe Namdo Province . In 1958, after graduating from the Pyongyang Art Institute , he became an artist at the Korean Studio of Educational and Educational Films (now the Korean Studio of Animated Films named after April 26). Currently works as an animator and director.
In 1968, he shot his first children's film "Oxwe", and in the early and mid-1970s he shot the first animated series " Chipmunk and Hedgehog ", which gained great popularity in the DPRK and even abroad. Since then, he has released many children's films, cartoons and animated series.
