Geography
The village is located 14 km west of the center of the village of Kovarditsy and 18 km west of Murom .
History
The village was first mentioned in the salary books of the Ryazan diocese of 1676 as part of the Vasilievsky parish , it had 30 peasant households [2] .
In the late XIX - early XX centuries, the village was part of the Papulinsky volost of the Melenkovsky district , since 1926 - as part of the Murom district . From the west, the village adjoined the village of Patsyrevo , which became part of Okulov in the 1930s. In 1859 [3] there were 49 yards in the village, in 1905 [4] 105 yards, and in 1926 [5] 152 yards.
Since 1929, the village was the center of the Okulovsky village council of the Murom region , since 1954 - as part of the Pestenkensky village council , since 2005 - as part of the Kovarditsky rural settlement .
