Medeterinae (lat.) Is a subfamily of insects of the family of greenfly (Dolichopodidae) [2] . As of January 1, 2017, it includes three tribes and a number of clans of unclear position [3] . Type genus Medetera Fischer von Waldheim , 1819 , the largest in the subfamily (315 species). 35 births are described.
