Geography
The village is located on the banks of the Ramenka River, 10 km west of the center of the village of Ilkino and 24 km southwest of Melenok .
History
The village was first mentioned in 1715 as part of the newly formed Pyangus parish, there were 7 courtyards in it [2] .
In the late XIX - early XX centuries, the village was part of the Lehtov volost of the Melenkovsky district , since 1926 - as part of the Melenkovsky volost of the Murom district . In 1859 [3] there were 23 yards in the village, in 1905 [4] - 40 yards, in 1926 [5] - 56 yards.
Since 1929, the village was the center of the Ramensky village council of the Melenkovsky district , since 1940 it was a part of the Dvoinovsky village council , since 1954 it was a part of the Ilkinsky village council , and since 2005 it has been a part of the Ilkinsky village settlement .
