Geography
The village is located 9 km south from the center of the settlement of Denyatino and 10 km north from the town of Melenki .
History
At the end of the 19th - beginning of the 20th century, the village was part of the Lekhtovsky volost of Melenkovsky district , since 1926 - as part of the Melenkovsky volost of Murom district . In 1859 [2] there were 27 courtyards in the village, in 1905 [3] - 78 courtyards, in 1926 [4] - 106 courtyards.
Since 1929, the village has been the center of the Prudnensky Village Council of the Melenkovsky District , since 1969 as part of the Donyatinsky Village Council , since 2005 - as part of the Dinyatinsky rural settlement .
