Biography
From the Lutheran family of the Ostsee nobility . The son of General Baron, since 1839 Count K.A. Kreutz and Baroness Karolina Petrovna Offenberg , nephew of Generals F.P. Offenberg and I.P. Offenberg . He was educated at the School of Guard Ensigns and Cavalry Junkers . He entered the service in 1834 . In 1836 he was promoted to cornet . In 1838 he was promoted to lieutenant . In 1841 he was promoted to headquarters captain . In 1844 he was promoted to captain .
In 1846 he was appointed adjutant wing of His Imperial Majesty . In 1849 he was promoted to colonel , a participant in the Hungarian campaign . Since 1855, the commander of the Military Order of the 13th Dragoon Regiment .
In 1856, he was promoted to major general with the appointment of His Imperial Majesty to the retinue . From 1861 he was appointed Moscow Chief Police Officer and at the same time since 1862 he was vice president of the Moscow Prison Trust Committee.
In 1864 he was promoted to lieutenant general . Until October 28, 1866 he was at the disposal of the Minister of the Interior , from October 28 this year he was appointed senator . In 1883 he was promoted to general from the cavalry .
He died in 1891 in St. Petersburg .
