Champion of France (1949). Silver medalist of the championships of France in 1950 and 1953. (in the latter, by additional indicators, he lost the championship to S. G. Tartakover ). The winner of the team championship of France in 1949 as part of the team of the Paris club " Caissa ". [one]
As part of the French team, a participant in the 1950 Chess Olympiad . He participated in a number of international tournaments, including the traditional Hoogovens tournament in Beverwijk .
In 1959, he completed his sports career due to a conflict with the leadership of the French Chess Federation during the next national championship.
