Reinier Bertus Beuuwkes ( Dutch: Reinier Bertus Beeuwkes ; February 17, 1884 , The Hague - April 1, 1963 , ibid.) - a Dutch soccer player who played as a goalkeeper , played for the teams HVV Quick and DFK . The first goalkeeper in history and a participant in the first official match in the history of the Netherlands national team [1] [2] .

Personal life
Rainier was born in February 1884 in the city of The Hague. Father - Rainier Bertus Beuvkes, was born in Arnhem , mother - Helena Susannah Hugüenin. In addition to him, the family also had the eldest daughter named Helena Susanne.
He worked as a regional secretary in the Dutch East Indies . He was married to Christina Wilhelmina Koch, a native of Amsterdam . Their marriage was registered on October 30, 1919 in Amsterdam [4] . In December 1928, the couple divorced [5] .
Died April 1, 1963 at the age of 79 in The Hague [6] .
