Geography
The village is located on the banks of the River Ushna , 18 km north of the settlement center of the village of Malyshevo and 19 km south-west of the district center of the working settlement Krasnaya Gorbatka .
History
At the end of the 19th - beginning of the 20th century, the village was part of the Drachevsky volost of Melenkovsky district , since 1926 - as a part of the Moshensky volost of Vladimirsky district . In 1859 [2] there were 18 courtyards in the village, in 1905 [3] - 34 courtyards, in 1926 [4] - 53 courtyards.
Since 1929, the village has been the center of the Zharovsky Village Council of the Selivanovsky District , since 1940 - as part of the Yumorsky Village Council , since 1960 - as part of the Malyshevsky Village Council , since 1979 - as part of the Krasnoushensky Village Council , since 2005 - as part of the Malyshevsky Village Settlement .
