Title History
The word Bakhtiarovo arose from the word Vata (Uta), which is the name of the tributary of the Volga (in Chuvashia, Tatarstan). There are currently Chuvash villages. The word Utah is from the Turkic language. The word Vătayal consists of two parts: Văta - the name of the river, Yal - the village.
History
The founders of the village were Pakhter (Bakhtiar), Tilper and Krymkka, who went through the Volga to Sviyaga, and therefore to Kubnya (Ketne), further on the left side of the Uta river they founded the village, and others, going further, reached Vutabusi and founded this the village.
Bakhtiarovo in the old days was called Krymkau. In ancient documents, the name of the village was called differently. In 1781, the village of Staraya Bakhtiarova, Vutal (Vutoyali), too, and in 1859: Staraya Bakhtiarova (Vutal, Krymkaevo) at the Uta River, 188 men and 190 women lived in the village, in 1907 861 Chuvash lived.
The local historian L. Ivanov, in his book “The Formation of Ethnographic Groups and Chuvash Subgroups,” claims that Bakhtiarovo was founded by migrants from the Five Mamadyshes Bakhtiar Mametkov and Akil Angirchayev. According to the list of settlements in 1859 in Kazan County, the village is called Old Bakhtiarova (Vutyal, Krymkevo) It consisted of two settlements. The founders of Krymkaev were Bakhtiar and Krymkka, who in ancient times lived on the Ute River (Tataria), but they were forced to flee, unable to withstand the oppression of the Tatars. The name of the village was given in Chuvash in Considerations UTA river. [2], [3]
