Biography
Born March 25, 1959 in the city of Comrat , Moldavian SSR in a poor Gagauz family. Her father, Semyon Ivanovich Domushchu, once lived in Georgia, knew the Georgian language . Returning to Moldova, he settled in the small town of Comrat [1] , where he founded a large, friendly family, worked as a carpenter and carpenter, was engaged in beekeeping and kept a fairly large apiary. Mother, Galina (Ganna) Nikolaevna Domushchu, came from a Ukrainian priest's family - her maiden name Ustimenko - worked as a seamstress in the House of Life and from childhood taught Olga to sew and come up with outfits. The family owned a small private house with a garden on Victory Street. Olga was the eldest child, then Anna was born, then - Hope, and the last was born Love.
After school, in August 1976 she moved to Leningrad, entered the vocational restoration and construction school No. 61. It should be noted that Viktor Tsoi also entered the same school a little later.
Since May 1980, she began to sing in the group of Igor Golubev " Jonathan Livingston ". Andrei Burlaka described her as "the owner of an interesting voice with folk intonations and jazz technique." Soon after the opening of the Leningrad Rock Club in 1981, he joined it as part of the group [2] . Together with the group, she participated in the first (1983) and second (1984) Rock Club festivals, and the first was marked “for artistry and vocal skills” [3]
In 1982, in parallel with concerts, she entered the Leningrad Institute of Theater, Music and Cinema , a class of Professor Isaak Romanovich Shtokbant , which she graduated in 1988 .
In June 1985, she left Jonathan Livingstone . In the same year, Valery Kirilov, who became the drummer of the Zoo group , proposed to include Olga in the group, but Mike Naumenko refused [4] .
In 1986, she represented Leningrad at the First All-Union Television Competition for Young Performers of Soviet Pop Songs in Jurmala [5] .
In 1988, after graduation, she was enrolled in the troupe of the Buff Theater .
In the second half of the 1980s, she collaborated with composer Oleg Kvasha .
In 1989, together with actors Pitskhelauri , Karev and Shumeyko, she worked in the Bis show troupe, which was part of the Benefis theater studio of Mikhail Boyarsky .
In the late 80s, she worked in a duet with composer Igor Kornelyuk , with whom he starred in the film " Musical Games " directed by Vitaly Aksyonov (scripted by Sergei Kuryokhin ).
In 1991 he left for a long job abroad.
In 1995, after returning, she was again enrolled in the troupe of the Buff Theater .
In 2005, the Slavyanka magazine wrote about her: “Today, Olga Domushchu is in a creative prime, and I want to wish her interesting and unexpected roles, since the potential of the actress is far from exhausted” [6]
She died on March 15, 2007 in her apartment in building 39 on Rosenstein Street after being discharged from the hospital. She was buried on March 22, 2007 at the Ovtsinsky cemetery .
In April 2019, the television and radio company GRT, as part of the People and Fate series, released a film about the life of Olga Domushchu.
Personal life
She was married to Valery Kirilov from 1984 (officially since 1990), the drummer of the Zoo band.
