Biography
Mikhail Georgievich Tyagunov was born on January 1, 1947 in Moscow. His father, Professor GA ME Tyagunov [2] , was engaged in the 1930s at the Faculty of Electrovacuum Engineering and Special Instrument Engineering (EEPP) in the development of methods for calculating vacuum systems. After graduation, Mikhail Georgievich entered, and in 1970 he graduated from the electric power department of the Moscow Power Engineering Institute (MEI). He remained to work at the department of "Hydropower". He worked as an engineer, he studied in graduate school. Since 1975 - Junior Researcher, Department of "Hydropower" MEI. From 1979 to 1981 he held the position of head of the research laboratory of the department "Hydropower", from 1981 to 1995 - leading researcher of the department.
He defended his thesis (1978). Since 1992 - Associate Professor, Department of Hydropower and Electricity, Renewable Sources, Moscow Power Engineering Institute. Since 1995, he worked as a dean of the faculty for advanced training of teachers and specialists of the Moscow Power Engineering Institute. In 1996 he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic: "Development of a method of structurally invariant modeling of hydropower facilities and its use in design and training control systems." Received the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor (1998).
Full member of the International Academy of Informatization (1996), Academy of Electrotechnical Sciences of the Russian Federation. He participated in the work "Creating an automated system for dispatching control of energy associations with cascades of hydropower plants."
Research interests: modeling of managed processes, information technology in the field of accounting, auditing and financial management, system analysis of energy objects management processes.
Mikhail Georgievich Tyagunov has 3 USSR author's certificates for inventions, is the author of about 140 scientific papers. Simultaneously with the scientific work he teaches at the National Research University "MEI", has prepared 10 candidates of technical sciences.
He is currently a member of the editorial board of the magazines Electrotechnika and New in the Russian Energy Sector, a member of the scientific and technical board of NP NTS UES, the Renewable and Non-Traditional Energy Section, an expert of the International Energy Commission and the Federal Register of the Russian Federation member of the scientific and technical councils of JSC RusHydro and JSC RAO ES of the East, the expert council on the formation of legislative initiatives and support of entrepreneurship under the Chairman of the State Duma Committee on nergetike.
