Biography
Tandara Kayshet was born in the capital of Brazil, the city of Brasilia, in the family of a former athlete Evaldo Kayshet. At the age of 9, Tandara started playing volleyball, and in 2002 she was accepted into the Brazil Telecom team (Brasilia), which made her debut in the Brazilian Super League. Since 2007, a volleyball player has been playing for the leading clubs in the country, while not stopping in any of them for more than one season. During this time, Tandara proved to be one of the top scorers of national championships, repeatedly updating performance records.
In 2004-2007, Tandara played for the junior and youth teams of Brazil, with whom she won continental and world championships. In 2011, the volleyball player made her debut in the national team of Brazil , for which she has been intermittently to this day. Over the years, Tandara has become the champion of various official international tournaments for the national team 8 times, including the 2012 Olympics , the 2013 World Cup of Champions , the Grand Prix (three times), and the continental championships (twice). After a break related to the birth of her daughter, in the summer of 2016 Tandara returned to the national team, but was not included in the composition for the home Olympics. In 2017, she was recognized as the best player in the championship of South America , and also entered the symbolic team of the World Cup .
