Arkady Petrovich Nikolsky (03.19.1902, p. Murzikha, Chistopolsky district, Kazan province - 12/21/1964, Perm) - Soviet scientist, livestock breeding specialist, one of the creators of the Ural offspring of black-cattle cattle.

He graduated from the Moscow Agricultural Academy. K.A. Timiryazev (1923).
In 1923-1924 - Director and teacher of livestock in the Vurnarsky Agricultural College of the Chuvash Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. In 1924-1930 - Ch. Livestock specialist of the Perm Territorial Administration (in 1928 he completed an internship in Denmark).
Since 1928 he taught and conducted research at the Perm Agricultural Institute, first part-time, and since 1930 - on an ongoing basis, since 1932 - head. Department of Private Zootechnics.
In 1938 he defended his thesis, in 1946 - a doctoral dissertation. Doctor of Agricultural Sciences (1947), Professor (1948).
The founder of pedigree dairy cattle breeding in the Perm Prikamye, one of the founders of the Ural spawn of black-motley cattle .
The author of about 200 scientific and popular science works.
He was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor (1961).
