The C37 was built on the basis of a new philosophy with a focus on the aerodynamic concept, different from the aerodynamic model Sauber C36 . The C37 is equipped with new improved aerodynamic parts, in addition to changes to the 2018 regulations, such as the removal of the “shark fin” and T-wings. In addition, in the 2018 season, the C37 performs with the 2018 version of the Ferrari engine, as opposed to last year's car. Jörg Zander, CTO, said: “We are confident that the new concept offers us more opportunities and will help us improve the situation this season. The 2018 Ferrari engine will also give us a boost in terms of our performance. ” [1]
