Biography
Born on August 12, 1939 in Moscow. In 1958 she entered the MGBI , which she graduated in 1963. In 1968 she was elected to the post of director of the MEPhI library, she held this position until 1979, at the same time she held the position of Member of the Presidium of the Central Scientific and Methodological Commission of the USSR Ministry of Higher Education . In 1979, she was elected to the position of Deputy Director of the GBL , she held this position until 1986. In 1987 she was elected to the post of director of the VGBIL , she held this position until 1989. In 1990, she returned to the GBL , where she was again elected to the position of deputy director, she held this position until 1998. In 1998, from the chair of the deputy director, she moved to the chair of the department of interlibrary cooperation with the CIS and Baltic countries, where she was in charge of this department until 2002. In 2002, she remained in this department, but holds the position of chief research fellow for the present.
Scientific work
The main scientific works are devoted to general issues of library science, as well as the concept of the development of the RSL and its funds, catalogs and information and bibliographic activities. The author of over 250 scientific papers.
