Numismatics and sphragistics is a non-periodical scientific publication of the Institute of Archeology of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR .

In 1963, the Institute of Archeology of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR began the publication of the collection "Numismatics and Sphragistics." A total of 5 issues were published:
- Issue # 1 (1963),
- Issue # 2 (1965),
- Issue # 3 (1968),
- Issue # 4 (1971),
- Issue # 5 (latest, 1974).
It was published at the Naukova Dumka publishing house in Kiev . Volume about 200 pages.
The collections were devoted to issues of money circulation and coin production in Ukraine. In “Numismatics and Sphragistics” there were placed studies on antique, West European, Old Russian, medieval Ukrainian and Russian numismatics ( coins of the Scythian king Atey [1] .; Coins of the Kiev prince Vladimir Olgerdovich ( N. Kotlyar ), as well as sphragistics ( seals of Feofano, wife of Tmutarakan Prince Oleg Svyatoslavich ( V. Yanin and others).
Descriptions of treasures and the topography of the coins found were published ( P. Karyshkovsky , V. Ryabtsevich ). There was a section on Criticism and Bibliography.
The responsible editor is Cand. East. Sciences V.A. Anokhin.
