Dzhantshaiskoe Lake ( Ukrainian: Dzhantshaiske Lake ) is a lake located in the south of the Tatarbunar district ( Odessa region ). The area of the water mirror is 6.92 km² [1] or 7.3 km² [2] . The type of general mineralization is salty . The origin is estuary. The hydrological regime group is closed .

Content
Geography
The lake is included in the group of lakes Tuzlovsky estuaries . Length - 5.66 km. The average width is 0.9 km, the largest - 2.67 km. The average depth is m, the greatest is m. Altitude: −0.4 m. The nearest settlement is the village of Primorskoe and Liman , located north of the lake. Also on the northern coast of the lake are the resorts of Katranka and Rasseika .
Dzhantsheyskoye lake is separated from the Black Sea by a sandy isthmus along which the road passes without a hard surface (unpaved). The lake basin of an irregular elongated body of water stretching from the northeast to the southwest. The north coast is very winding, the south is not and repeats the line of the isthmus with the Black Sea. The shores are gentle, except for some in the north - steep with a beach. Shores with abundant coastal-aquatic vegetation. Rivers do not flow. Lake Maly Sasik adjoins to the east (through an artificially fixed isthmus), to the west - an unnamed reservoir (through an artificially fixed isthmus). The northern part of the lake juts out into the land - Stevok Bay.
Economic Significance
It is part of the Tuzlovsky Estuary National Nature Park, created on January 1, 2010 with a total area of 27,865 hectares. Used for recreation and fishing. Crucian carp, carp and goby are found in the lake.
