Muhammad-Ali Islami Nadushan ( Persian محمدعلی اسلامی ندوشن ) is an Iranian poet and writer of the 20th century.

The early years
Dr. Nadushan began to write poetry from about 12 years old during his studies in Tehran’s high school. During this period, he published some of his poems in the magazine Sohan.
He went to Tehran in 1945 and entered the Tehran University of Law in 1347, and three years later, completing the translation of Thomas Mann's Future Democracy, Nadushan received a bachelor's degree.
Adolescence
In 1951, he went to France to complete his education, and studied for 4.5 years in France and England. Having defended his Ph.D.
Creativity and the later years of life
Dr. Nadushan is a poet and writer who has published his poems since 1949 in Sohan magazine and several other magazines. Muhammad-'Ali Islami Nadushan published some of his works under the pseudonym M. Observer. He founded the Persia Firdousi Cultural Foundation. He published the quarterly journal Genesis. After retiring, Dr. Nadushan continued his career at the Persia Firdousi Foundation. For 50 years, he has written more than 45 books and hundreds of articles on the culture, history and literature of Iran.
In 1956, Muhammad-'Ali Islami Nadushan returned to Iran and worked as a judge for several years. After retiring from the judiciary, he taught law and literature at several universities and higher education institutions, including the National University, the Higher School of Literature, the Higher School of Business and the Institute of Banking. In 1370, at the invitation of Reza Fazlullah, rector of Tehran University , he was offered to collaborate with the University of Tehran, and, thanks to publications in the field of literature, he became a teacher in the faculty of literature of this university. Dr. Nadushan gave a series of lectures on the topic of literary criticism “Firdousi and the Shahnameh ”, as well as “Masterpieces of World Literature” at the Faculty of Literature. At the Faculty of Law, he taught "The History of Civilization and Culture of Iran." Until 1979, until he voluntarily retired, he taught these lectures. He currently works at the Faculty of Literature of the University of Tehran and in doctoral studies in the field of literature, teaches a course called “World Literary Schools”.
Family
The wife of Muhammad-Ali Ali Nadushan, Dr. Shirin Bayani, who is an Iranian historian, researcher and writer, gave him two sons during their life together.
