Club career

Tom is a graduate of the Welsh club Aberystwyth Town . He made his debut in the Premier League for the main team in the 2008/2009 season , having spent 4 matches and scoring 2 goals. Soon, a young striker was lured to his club from his hometown - Shrewsbury Town . Since Tom had not yet reached the age of majority at the time of signing the contract with Town, in 2012, after a long trial, FIFA ordered the English club to pay Aberystwyth compensation in the amount of £ 30,000 [2] . He played first for the youth squad, then for the main one, playing 98 matches in all tournaments [3] before moving to Walsall in July 2014, after Shrewsbury left the First League . He played for the club for two seasons, and after an unsuccessful attempt by Walsall to improve his class through the playoffs, he asked the club management to put him on a transfer. July 14, 2016 he moved to the Barnsley Championship Club, signing a contract until the end of the 2018/2019 season.

Team Career

Tom was born in England, but spent all his childhood on the west coast of Wales, and therefore could speak for this country. He was the main player of the youth team in the period 2011-2013. In November 2015, he was called up to the main team for a friendly match with the Netherlands national team [4] , but did not enter the field. He made his debut in the national team on March 28, 2016 in a friendly match against the national team of Ukraine , replacing Tom Lawrence in the 72nd minute of the meeting, the match was lost by Wales 1-0 [5] .
