| Scene on the couch | The Simpsons run to the couch, but his fangs grow and he begins to growl in the family. Content
Story
The family is in Paradise Pier, where the Ferris wheel, on which Marge has dreamed all her life to take a ride, but learns that it is dismantled, selling some of its equipment. Homer buys a dumbbell , and Marge gets a tandem bike .
When Marge wants to take her bike for a walk, she discovers that neither Homer, nor Bart , nor Maggie are willing to join her. She tries to drive independently and repeatedly falls. Realizing that his mother can be lonely, Bart offers to go with her. They go to the unincorporated part of the country and find a small village with a tea house. Later, the tea house closes forever due to poor sanitation, forcing Bart to invite his mother for a tea party in his tree house.
Marge repairs the house, and the couple goes to the mall to get a new tea service; Bart receives service clown Krusty . Outside the store, bullies Jimbo , Dolph and Kearney blame Bart for being a sissy, which makes the boy rebel against his mother. Marge gets depressed and eventually sells the bike to Chef Wiggam , Eddie and Lou .
Feeling bad, Bart invites Marge in a team with her to participate in a karaoke school competition. Seeing the intimacy of Director Skinner and his mother , Marge sees this as a terrible future for Bart. She stops the show so that Bart knows that he can find his own way of life and that he does not have to worry about her because it is her job to worry about him. To make it all better, she gives him a fire extinguisher, so that he deliberately sprayed in front of an audience, including hooligans who teased him.
Meanwhile, in Moe , Homer demonstrates the strength of his right hand, which he pumped up with dumbbells. Mo has an idea of how to capitalize on this — Homer participates in armwrestling championships, where Homer willingly wins the top prize (refund of $ 50), but discovers that he really misses his wife.
