The author of a number of scientific works and articles in the field of high voltage engineering, he is a co-author of a three-volume textbook on high voltage engineering, published under the editorship of Professor L. I. Sirotinsky .

Biography

Born in 1920 in Moscow.

After graduation, he entered the Moscow Power Engineering Institute , whose electric power faculty graduated in 1942 in the city of Leninogorsk (now the city of Ridder of the Republic of Kazakhstan), where the institute was evacuated. After graduation, he worked as a duty dispatcher on the Altai power system and at the end of 1943 entered the graduate school of MPEI at the Department of High Voltage Techniques (TVN). [one]

In 1947, Daniil Razevig defended his thesis, began to lecture to students, at the same time was engaged in research work. In 1948, Razevig made a lecture at the All-Union Conference on Surge Surveys in Leningrad with two reports on inducted surges on transmission lines and the protection of rotating machines and was elected to the editorial committee for the development of conference decisions. In the early 1950s, research and educational institutions of the USSR began to study internal overvoltages in the future 400 kV Kuibyshev-Moscow power line. On the initiative and under the leadership of Daniil Vsevolodovich, a small-sized model of such a power line was created at the Department of TVN MPEI and the Moscow Power Engineering Institute was one of the first to obtain concrete results and develop recommendations on the levels of insulation of extra-high voltage power transmission.

In 1952-1954 he was on a business trip to the DPRK as an adviser to the dean of the Pyongyang Polytechnic Institute (now the Kim Chek Polytechnic University ) and a consultant on the country's electrical industry and energy. For his work, he was awarded the Order of the State Flag of the II degree by the Government of the DPRK. [one]

After returning to Moscow, Daniil Vsevolodovich continued to work at MPEI, became deputy professor L.I. Sirotinsky , and then (since 1958) head of the department of TVN.

In 1959, his monograph “Atmospheric Surges on Power Lines” was published, which served as the basis for a doctoral dissertation, successfully defended in 1961; in 1962, Razevig was approved in the academic rank of professor. He combined his work as the head of the department of TVN with social and administrative activities: in 1958-1961 he was dean of the electric power faculty of MPEI, in 1961-1965 - vice-rector of the university for scientific work. He was a member of the scientific and scientific-technical councils of several ministries and research institutes, in 1966-1973 he was editor-in-chief of the journal "Electricity".

In 1972-1973, D.V. Razevig headed the Energy Institute. G. M. Krzyzhanowski [2]

He died in 1973 in Moscow. He was buried at Vvedensky cemetery .

He was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor and medals.
