Biography
Claudia Semenovna Charkova (after Kilchichakov’s husband) was born on October 27 ( November 9 ), 1917 into a peasant family. Father Semyon Efimovich Charkov, mother Anastasia Afanasyevna Charkova (nee Kyzlasova) died in 1924 during an epidemic of typhoid fever [1] . After graduation, she entered the Achinsk Trade College.
In 1939-1942, she studied at the Leningrad Theater Institute (class of Y. B. Frid ) as part of the first national Khakass acting studio. She remained in Leningrad during the blockade , along with other girls who studied at the institute, saved art monuments, and neutralized incendiary bombs.
After evacuation from Leningrad in 1942, she joined the troupe of the Khakass National Drama Theater in Abakan . From 1954 to 1991, the theater was combined with the Russian Drama Theater. M. Yu. Lermontov .
She was elected as a deputy of the city and regional Councils of deputies of workers.
She died in 1994.
