Geography
Located in the north-western part of the district, 20 km west of the city of Boskovice , 27 km north-west of Blansko and 42 km north-west of Brno . It borders with the municipality of Krstenov (from the east) and the city of Oleshnice (from the north-east), as well as with the municipalities of Rovnechna (from the north-west), Westin (from the west) and Prosetin (from the south) of Zdar nad Sazavou district . Connected by bus service to Boskovice.
History
It was first mentioned in 1349 as a concession, and in 1398 it is marked empty.
In the years 1590-1848 was part of the estate Kunštát [1] . There is a chapel of St. Trinity built in 1887.

According to the 2011 census, 37 people lived in the village (of which 14 Czechs and 10 Moravians , in 2001 - 73% of Czechs and 27% of Moravians [8] ), of which 19 men and 18 women (average age is 47.2 years) . Of the 34 people over the age of 14, 11 had basic (including incomplete) education, 20 - secondary, including students (8 of them with a certificate of maturity ), 2 - higher education (1 bachelor and 1 master).
Of the 37 people, 15 were economically active (including 3 unemployed), 22 were inactive (13 non-working pensioners, 3 dependents and 6 students). Of the 12 workers, 1 worked in agriculture, 4 in industry, 1 in construction, 1 in trade and car repair, 1 in computer science and communications, one each in education and health care [9] .
