Geographical position
The village is located on the banks of the river Kozlyanka . The nearest villages are Volkovschina and Padar . The nearest large settlement is Shepelevichi , located 7 km to the southeast. The distance to the center of the village council is 21.5 km to the east, to the city of Krugloye - 33.5 km to the north-east. The relief is flat, partly the village is surrounded by forest.
The village consists of a straight, short street, oriented from southwest to northeast and built up with traditional wooden manor houses.
History
According to the census of 1897 - a village, 17 courtyards. In 1909 - the village of Esmon volost of the Borisov district of the Minsk province , 12 yards. In 1917 - 11 yards.
According to the census of 1926 - 14 yards. From August 20, 1924, the village was part of the Belynichi district , from February 12, 1935 - as part of the Kruglyansky district, from February 20, 1938 - in the newly formed Mogilev region. In April 1931, the Green Guy collective farm was formed. In 1940 - 16 yards.
During World War II, the village was occupied by German troops from the beginning of July 1941 to the end of July 1944. In December 1942, the village was completely burned, 13 residents were killed (a monument was erected at the site of the execution in 1981). After the war, the village was rebuilt.
In 1959–66, again in the Belynichi district. Until December 21, 2011 she was a member of the Shepelevich village council [3] .
