Biography

Annersli Zried was born on May 3, 1949 in the commune of Adelboden in the canton of Bern , Switzerland .

In 1967, she became a member of the Swiss national team and took part in the drawing of the very first Alpine skiing World Cup. She did not manage to get into the number of winners, however, at the stages in the Italian Sestriere and American Franconia, she took fourth places in the downhill, and in the overall standings according to the results of all women's disciplines, she was on the fifteenth line.

At the 1968 Swiss Championships, Zrid won the downhill program. Thanks to a series of successful performances, she was awarded the right to defend the country's honor at the Winter Olympic Games in Grenoble - she showed here the eleventh result in slalom and downhill, while in giant slalom she became the thirteenth.

After the Grenoble Olympics, Anneresli Tsrid remained for some time in the main ski team in Switzerland and continued to take part in major international competitions. So, in 1970, she visited the World Championships in Val Garden , from where she brought the golden dignity award - she went around all the rivals in the downhill, including such titled skiers as Isabelle Mir and Annemarie Moser-Pröl . This victory also went into the World Cup standings, as the world championship was one of the stages. Nevertheless, Zrid could not win the overall score of the downhill this season, becoming only the seventh [1] .

Despite a triumphant performance at the World Championships in Val Gardena, at the age of 20, Anneresli Cried decided to end her sports career.
