Bingham, Jerry

Gerald "Jerry" Joseph Bingham Jr. ( born Gerald "Jerry" Joseph Bingham Jr .; [4] born June 25, 1953 , Chicago USA ) [5] is an American comic book author who works on design and illustration of comic books. Known for working with the release of " Marvel Team-Up " and the graphic novel " Batman: Son of the Demon " [6] .

Biography

Bingham and Dan Adkins took their first break from the comics [7] , his first published work was a backup of Green Arrow and The Best Comics in the World # 251 (June-July 1978) [8] . With TSR, Inc. And Malibu Comics, he drew comics for Marvel, the first releases came out through Dark Horse Comics and First Comics . In 1987, he painted the graphic novel Batman: Son of the Demon , in which a new character, Damien Wayne, appeared. [9] The novel “returned DC Comics” first place in sales for fifteen years [10] [11] .

In the late 1990s , Bingham left the comics, and moved to the West Coast, where he was creating stories for feature films, props and special effects. He contributed design work for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts , Universal Studios and Hollywood Christmas Parade . In addition, Bingham illustrates magazines and draws covers for games.

Education

Bingham studied at the American Academy of Arts , School of Artists. Scottsdale, California Institute of Barking and University of California, Los Angeles .
