Biography
Born October 1, 1819 . Entered the service in 1835 after graduating from the Mikhailovsky Artillery School , promoted to ensigns and transferred to the 11th Light Horse Artillery Battery. In 1844 he was promoted to lieutenant .
In 1850 he was promoted to captains , in 1854 to captains of guards artillery . Since 1854, a member of the Crimean War .
In 1858, promoted to colonel . Since 1859, the head officer for inspecting weapons of the 4th Army Corps . From 1863 he was appointed commander of the 2nd cavalry-artillery brigade. From 1866 he was appointed commander of the 1st cavalry-artillery brigade. In 1867, promoted to major general . Since 1870, the chief of artillery of the Don Cossacks .
In 1876, promoted to lieutenant general . Since 1877, the head of the artillery of the 4th Army Corps , a participant in the Russian-Turkish war . Since 1879, the chief of artillery of the Occupation Forces in Bulgaria and the Finnish Military District . Since 1883, P. A. Bashilov was appointed a member of the Artillery Committee of the Main Artillery Directorate , and also consisted of special assignments under the General-Field Medical Officer and the General Field Marshal Grand Duke Mikhail Nikolayevich .
From 1899 he was appointed a member of the Alexander Committee on the Wounded . In 1891, promoted to generals from artillery .
He died on September 29, 1908 in St. Petersburg .
