Carbonell is a Spanish olive oil producer owned by Grupo SOS and SOS Cuétara (now Deoleo ). The oldest brand of olive oil in Spain. The company is headquartered in Cordoba ( Andalusia ).

History
The company was founded by Antonio Carbonell in July 1866. In 1895, the company became the supplier of the Spanish Royal House , and in 1888 entered into an exclusive contract for the supply of olive oil with the British Navy , with which it worked until 1918. In 1904, the company won the Grand Prix at the Universal Exhibition in St. Louis (USA) [1] [2] .
Since the 1950s, Carbonell products have been exported to more than 70 countries, making it the world leader [3] in the production of olive oil [4] [5] .
In 2004, the company opened the first olive oil museum in Spain.
