Lonnie David Chisenhall ( October 4, 1988 , Morehead City ) is an American baseball player and outfielder of the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball team.

Career

Chizenhall was selected at the 2006 draft by the Pittsburgh Pirates Club, but preferred to study at the University of South Carolina . He played a year for a university team, but was then expelled after being charged with theft [1] . In 2008, he was chosen for the second time in the Major League Baseball draft pick - under the general 29th number. In the same year, he began performing in the Cleveland Indian farm system for the Mahoning Valley Scrappers. Over the next two years, Chizenhall played for Akron Aeros.

On June 27, 2011 he was transferred to the main squad of the Indians to play against Arizona .

On June 9, 2014, he became the first player in Major League Baseball history to make five hits, three home runs and nine RBIs in five bat appearances. This result was surpassed in 2017 by Scooter Janet.

Chizenhall is married with three children.
