Biography
Born May 5, 1836 . In 1854, after the end of the 1st Moscow Cadet Corps, he was promoted to ensign of artillery. In 1860 he was promoted to second lieutenant . In 1867 he was promoted to captain of the guard.
In 1870 he was promoted to colonel of the guard with the appointment of the 4th battery commander, and since 1873 the 3rd battery of the Life Guards of the Horse Artillery .
Since 1878, the commander of the 28th artillery brigade. Member of the Russian-Turkish war . In 1879 he was promoted to major general and appointed chief of artillery of the Don Army .
In 1891 he was promoted to lieutenant general . In 1892 he was appointed chief of artillery of the Moscow military district . Since 1893 he was appointed chief of artillery of the Guards Corps .
Since 1901 he was appointed a member of the Alexander Committee on the Wounded . In 1902 he was promoted to general of artillery .
He died on April 21, 1905 in St. Petersburg .
