Biography
Beatrice was born in 1290 in Naples. She was the eldest daughter of Karl Martell of Anjou and Clementia of Habsburg . When Beatrice was six years old, she was married to the Dauphin of Vienne, Jean II, who was ten years older than her. The wedding took place in 1296 in Naples. They had two sons. When her husband died on March 5, 1319 , Beatrice became a nun at Sito Abbey . In 1340 she moved to the abbey of Saint-Jude-de-Clay. Sons built for her the monastery of Saint-Just-d'en-le-le-Royan, in which she died in 1343 .
Family
Beatrice of Anjou was married to Dauphin Vienna Jean II. There were two children in their marriage. Children:

- Umbert II (1312–1355) - Dauphin of Vienne in 1333–1348.
