Morumbi Cemetery ( port. Cemitério do Morumbi ) is a city necropolis located in the southern part of the Brazilian city of São Paulo in the prestigious area of Morumbi .

History
It was founded in 1968. The total area of 300,000 m². It is considered the first "South America Cemetery Park." It was created according to the type of North American cemeteries: large in size, similar to a meadow, without grave monuments, crosses and graves protruding from the earth, only with small format signs at the burial place of the deceased.
The cemetery is considered a tourist attraction of Sao Paulo and part of the cultural exhibition of the city.
Many famous people who have left their contribution to the history of Brazil are buried in the cemetery.

- Gilmar - soccer player, goalkeeper, world champion in 1958 and 1962. The best goalkeeper of Brazil in the XX century, one of the best goalkeepers in the history of world football according to IFFHS.
- Juvencio, Juvenal - lawyer, president of the São Paulo Football Club.
- Alice Regina is a pop singer, one of the most respected and beloved Brazilian pop stars.
- Salgado, Pliniu is a journalist, philosopher and politician, founder and permanent leader of the Brazilian ultra-right political movement, known as integralism.
- Senna, Ayrton - the world famous racing driver, three-time world champion of Formula 1 (1988, 1990 and 1991).
- Hernandez, Claudeville - fashion designer, TV presenter and politician.
