Huawei Honor 7 is a smartphone of Huawei sub-brand Honor . This is the successor to Huawei Honor 6 , the flagship device of the Honor sub-brand for 2014. In the Honor lineup, as you know, high-performance devices of the middle price segment are presented. For different markets phones with various characteristics were produced.

Hardware
Honor 7 has an all-metal body, a 5.2-inch touch screen, a 20-megapixel rear camera ( Sony IMX230 ) [1] and an 8-megapixel front camera. RAM 3GB and 16 / 64GB of internal memory depending on the model. Three colors are available: gold, gray and silver; Gold is exclusive to the Chinese market. The gold version is also equipped with NFC capability and 64 GB of internal memory. The international version is only available in gray and silver case with an internal capacity of 16 GB, without the NFC function. And the version for the Indian market is the only version of the phone with one SIM card , in all other versions it is possible to install a second SIM card. Also, if you wish, you can expand the internal memory of the phone by installing a micro-sd card up to 128 GB in size. The phone has a fingerprint scanner, which can be used not only to unlock the phone. For example, when the phone is unlocked, you can click on the scanner, which will be equivalent to pressing the back button, or swipe your finger from top to bottom to call the notification / settings curtain. This is the first example of using the scanner as an additional manipulator for controlling the phone. Another feature of the phone is "Smart", an additional hardware button that can be assigned to perform a specific task when it is pressed.
Software
Honor 7 entered the market with Android 5.0 Lollipop with Emotion UI 3.0. Over time, I received an update to Andoid 6.0 Marshmallow and Emotion UI 4.0. The camera application has several new modes: “Good Food”, which improves the image of food products and “Decoration”, which performs programmatic processing of the face by removing skin defects. The fingerprint reader is said to unlock the phone in 0.5 seconds, and also includes additional software features that facilitate the use of the device. On the "Smart" button, you can assign specific actions depending on the type of pressing: single, quick double or long press.
