History

The history of the enterprise began in 1963, when the Malinsky Foundry and Mechanical Plant was created on the basis of the Plow industrial platform, which manufactured steel and iron castings, parts for agricultural machinery and other metal products [2] .

In March 1966, the enterprise was transformed into the Malinsky pilot plant of the USSR Ministry of Tractor and Agricultural Engineering, and new equipment was installed at the plant. Only during the years of the eighth five-year plan (1966 - 1970), the plant’s main production assets were increased 2.5 times, later the plant began to produce non-standard equipment for machine-building enterprises of the USSR (including the Volgograd Tractor Plant , the enterprises of Gomel, Chelyabinsk and Tashkent ). In addition, new technologies for manufacturing equipment for press-forging, thermal and painting industries were developed and tested here [2] .

In the 1970s [3] - 1980s, the plant was one of the leading enterprises of the city [4] , the objects of social infrastructure were on the balance.

In accordance with the 13th five-year plan for the development of the national economy of the USSR (1991 - 1995), it was envisaged to expand the plant with technical re-equipment of its foundry, but after the declaration of independence of Ukraine on October 14, 1991, this decision was canceled [5] .

In 1992, kindergarten No. 11, which was on the balance sheet of the enterprise, was transferred to the municipal property of the city.

In June 1992, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine instructed the plant to reorient production and master the production of production lines for brick manufacturing [6] .

On May 31, 1993, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allowed the privatization of the plant in order to attract foreign investment into the country [7] and on May 15, 1995, it approved the decision to privatize the plant [8] , after which the state-owned enterprise was transformed into an open joint-stock company .

Subsequently, part of the production capacities of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade was allocated to individual enterprises.

At the end of 2005, the plant mastered the production of screw screens for the coal industry.

Current status

The plant produces steel and iron castings, spare parts and equipment for agricultural machinery and railway transport, as well as special technological equipment (including equipment for the mining industry) [1] .
