General Information
Adam is one of two children of Jaromir and Lenka Pavlasek, there is a sister who, like her mother, is called Lenka. His parents are owners of a small company.
He started playing tennis at the age of six with his father, who was a tennis coach. Favorite coating is soil. Favorite tournament calls Kitzbuhel .
A fan of the Slavia football team (Prague) .
Sports career
Pavlasek won his first titles at futures tournaments in July 2012. In July 2014, in doubles, he won the first title of the Challenger series at the tournament in Poznan . In March 2015, Adam received the first challenge to the Czech national team in the Davis Cup . In June of the same year in Poprad, he first won the “challengers” alone.
In May 2016, Pavlasek as a varnish-loser hit his first Grand Slam in the main grid. This happened at the French Open , where the Czech tennis player got to the second round. In June, the Czech took the Challenger in Prague and this result allowed him to rise for the first time in the Top 100 of the world singles rating. In July, Pavlaszek was able to reach the quarter finals at the ATP Tour tournament in Kitzbuhel . In September, he won another Challenger in Banja Luka . According to the results of the 2016 season, Adam first finished in the first hundred, finishing in 75th place.
Pavlasek finished the Australian Open in 2017 in the first round, and the Wimbledon tournament in the second, losing at this stage to one of the world tennis leaders Novak Djokovic .
In May 2018, he won the Challenger series tournament in Rome (Italy), defeating Serb Laszlo Gyor in the final three-set stubborn eater. Then he qualified for the French Open, where he even reached the second round in the main draw, repeating the personal best result of 2016 at the Grand Slam tournaments. Lost in three sets Diego Schwartzmanu from Argentina.
