Richard Webster "Dick" Lawrence ( English Richard Webster "Dick" Lawrence ; July 22, 1906 - June 1974 ) - American bobsledder, bronze medalist of the 1936 Winter Olympics.

Biography
A participant in the 1936 Winter Olympics bobsleigh competitions in twos and fours. The 1934 North American Champion among twos with Gilbert Colgate . In the competition of twos in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, he won a bronze medal. In the Fours competition, their crew took 6th place in dramatic circumstances: the pilot Francis Tyler dispersed the bob to such a high speed that James Bickford flew out of the bean at the turn. However, Lawrence, leaning out, managed to grab him and drag him back to the bean, he almost fell out of the bean.
