Biography
In 1955 he graduated from the Department of Logic and Psychology of Irkutsk State University .
In 1955-1957 He worked as a teacher in the Tulun College of Agricultural Mechanization. Then, under the scientific supervision of Professor D. A. Oshanin, he graduated from the graduate school of the Institute of Psychology of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the RSFSR in Moscow. Since 1960, he worked at the Irkutsk State Pedagogical Institute. In 1962, at Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov successfully defended his Ph.D., and in 1974 at the Research Institute of General and Pedagogical Psychology of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the RSFSR - a doctoral dissertation on the problem of monotony of labor in the conditions of production and conveyor production.
In 1970, on his initiative, the Department of Psychology was created at the Irkutsk Pedagogical Institute, postgraduate studies and an experimental psychology laboratory were opened, and the East Siberian Branch of the Society of Psychologists of the USSR (now the Irkutsk Branch of the Russian Psychological Society) was organized. In 1975, he was awarded the title of professor.
- 1978-1985 - Vice-rector of the Irkutsk Pedagogical Institute for Scientific Work,
- 1986-2002 - Head of the Department of General and Educational Psychology,
- 2002-2014 - Professor, Department of General and Educational Psychology.
With his direct participation in 1992, the first psychology faculty among universities in Siberia and the Far East was created, which he led for the first time, acting as dean of the faculty.
Since 1991, he headed the first in Siberia and the Far East specialized Council for the defense of candidate (and since 2002 0 and doctoral) dissertations in psychological and pedagogical scientific specialties, created at the Irkutsk State Pedagogical University.
Under his leadership, more than 40 master's and 8 doctoral dissertations were defended. The scientist authored about 100 scientific works, among which the monograph “Overcoming the Monotony of Labor in Industry” (1976) has a special place.
Awards and titles
Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Honorary Worker of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation.
He was awarded the Badge of Honor “Higher Education in the USSR”, was awarded the medal “For Merits to Higher School”, the main departmental award of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation for merits in the field of pedagogical sciences - the medal K.D. Ushinsky.
