Historical background
The history of the Togliatti Palace of Children and Youth Creativity began in 1973 . By the decision of 09.10.1973, No. 250/20 of the executive committee of the Avtozavodsky district Council of Workers 'Deputies of the city of Togliatti and the decision of 54/11/1973, No. 544/24 of the executive committee of the Togliatti City Council of Workers' Deputies, the house of pioneers was opened in Avtozavodsky district . The out-of-school institution was located in two classes of secondary school No. 32. These were the first 16 circles of technical, artistic, and applied art, the Rainbow pioneer headquarters, the Sodruzhestvo club of senior counselors, and 14 pioneer squads of Avtozavodsky district schools. The house of pioneers grew together with Avtograd and the Volga Automobile Plant , its pupils were the first generation of residents of the new district of Tolyatti.
In 1976 , the House of Pioneers was renamed the House of Pioneers and Schoolchildren ; it is located in five classes of secondary school No. 49. The pedagogical team creates and develops new children's groups, leads a 20-thousand army of Togliatti pioneers.
In 1985 , in Moscow, the State Committee for Civil Engineering and Architecture under the Gosstroy of the USSR educational buildings, it was decided to build a building for the House of Pioneers . The main architect of the project was V.A. Savitsky , chief engineer of the project - ML Roterstein [1] .
The construction of the Palace began in 1986 , Komsomol members and builders of the Volga auto giant were engaged in the construction of the building. The Palace of Children and Youth Creativity is one of the largest institutions of additional education in the Samara Region that has similar infrastructure resources designed to develop the creative abilities of children and adolescents.
In 1989 , the Palace celebrated its third housewarming in the new building and received a permanent address on 99 Stepan Razin Avenue. After the dissolution of the Komsomol . By the Decree of February 12, 1992 No. 153/3 of the administration of the Avtozavodsky district of the city of Tolyatti, the new name of the institution "Palace of Children and Youth Creativity" was approved.
Stages of Development
Stage I: November 1973 - 1975
The house of pioneers and schoolchildren becomes the center of extracurricular work with children of the Avtozavodsky district. All pioneer squads are united by common affairs around the pioneer headquarters "Rainbow" and the club of senior counselors "Commonwealth".
May 19, 1974 - the first pioneer parade on the square near the cinema " Saturn ".
1975 - the first tourist rally and the first amateur art festival, the first labor landings for laying parks and squares.
The work of the first circles begins - this is the folk dance group "Cheerful guys" (later - the exemplary ensemble "Russian girl"), the circle of visual activity, the circle for designing and modeling clothes; drama circle; vocal circle (later - music school).
Stage II: 1976-1988
In 1976 , the House of Pioneers acquired the status of the Palace of Pioneers and Schoolchildren. Active work is underway to expand the network of circles and integrate them into departments in 6 areas: technical, applied, sports, aesthetic, social and creative. The methodical department becomes the leading one, on the basis of which the training of the pioneer and Komsomol activists, detachment counselors, counselors-production workers of suburban camps, and class teachers is conducted. The palace was awarded a diploma of the Central Council of the Pioneer Organization and the Central Committee of the Komsomol .
The Parsley Puppet Theater, a car club, a modern ballroom dance group, a chess club, a brass band, a Kaleidoscope theater, and a military patriotic club begin to work in the Palace.
In September 1987 , the department of rhythmic gymnastics, a cutting and sewing circle was opened. Children's groups achieve their first victories and successes: chess players, tourists and wrestlers become winners of regional competitions, members of the Rainbow pioneer headquarters are awarded trips to the Artek All-Union Pioneer Camp and the Orlyonok All-Russian Camp; the dance group "Funny Guys" is awarded the title of laureates of the television competition "First Steps into Art".
Stage III: 1989-1994
In 1989, the opening of the Palace moves to a new building, receives the status of the Togliatti Palace of Pioneers and Schoolchildren under the Komsomol Central Committee . In 1992, after the ban of the CPSU and the dissolution of the Komsomol, the building was transferred to the ownership of the city municipality , the name of the institution "Togliatti Palace of Children and Youth Creativity" was changed.
The institution is transferred to a new economic mechanism, receives the first license to conduct educational activities. For the teaching staff, this was the period of the organization of the educational space and the creation of new structural units:

Stage IV: 1995-1998
The teaching staff has achieved a certain stability in the activities of structural divisions and the growth of educational results. The legal framework has been put in order, a system for training pedagogical personnel has been organized, a new license for the right to conduct educational activities has been obtained.
In the structures of departments, new children's associations are being created. In the center of folk culture, a musical and choreographic studio is being formed (choreographic department, folk instruments, the collective of the modern pop dance Premiere, folk instrument orchestra), the Origins travel and excursion bureau, and the folk arts school. Thanks to the practice of organizing ethnographic expeditions with the participation of teachers and pupils of the Palace, the fund of the museum of culture and life of the Volga peoples is being formed.
By the end of the 90s, the main fund of the ethnographic museum included more than 250 genuine monuments of history, material and spiritual culture. In the art department, the gambling center "Impromptu" and the club-cafe "Communication" begin work. A computer literacy school and an elementary school of technical creativity are opening in the technical department. In the department "Nature and We" organized an exhibition hall of exotic animals, aquarium.
In 1997 , a school of choreographic art was created in the Palace, in the training program sports ballroom dance, classical dance, folk dance, ballet gymnastics, children's play dance, the history of choreographic art.
In 1997 , the specialists of the school of choreographic art organize the first festival of children's choreographic groups “Golden Fish”, after 10 years the festival changed the name and composition of the organizing committee, becoming the competition-festival of children's choreographic groups “Children of the Sun”.
Stage V: 1999-2007
In 1999 , DYUT received the accreditation of a multidisciplinary institution of additional education of the highest category. This stage is characterized by the development of children's associations of environmental, biological, artistic and aesthetic, sports trends.
Popular among schoolchildren are educational programs of the department "Nature and We" - "Aquarium", "Enter the nature of another", "The amazing world of plants", "I am an ecologist", "Young biologist". The diversity of the living corner, on the basis of which educational programs are being implemented, attracts the attention of not only the pupils of DYUT, but also the residents of the city. Almost all species of flora and fauna, which were studied as part of the school curriculum, were presented in a living corner. These are species of fish, turtles, frogs, toads, hedgehogs, birds (quails, partridges, decorative hens, lovebirds), snakes (python, sand boa, Amur snake), Komodo lizard, Nile crocodile, Javanese macaque, etc. Specialists of the department carry out research work, collaborate with the Institute of Ecology and the Volga Basin, the regional children's environmental and biological center.
In 1999 , the Buratino puppet and mask theater was created, which becomes the third theater group in the Palace. Puppet Theater "Parsley" and the Kaleidoscope Theater continue to develop the tradition of children's New Year's performances, puppet and drama performances, and game programs. The programs for children with disabilities “Young Biologist”, “Folk Alphabet”, “World of Music” are being opened at the DYUT, the programs “Clay Toy”, “Art Studio“ Orion ”,“ School of the Young Journalist ”, which becomes the first forge of personnel, are being successfully implemented in the city, it is her graduates who now work as leading journalists and editors in Togliatti and other Russian cities.
In 2000 , within the framework of the program “Design and Modeling of Clothing”, the Colorite Fashion Theater was created and the first collection of fashionable clothes, “Summer is a small life,” appeared, which ranks 2nd in the city's competition for children and youth fashion “Our Style”.
In 2005 , DYUT became the winner of the II All-Russian competition of educational institutions.
In 2007 - the winner of the I municipal competition "The Best Educational Institutions of Preschool and Further Education".
Stage VI: 2007-2017
In 2007 , a new stage of development begins. This period is characterized by the development of sports and scientific-technical programs, an increase in the number of victories for teachers and pupils at city, regional, national, international competitions, competitions, forums, tournaments, and the intensification of social and creative and project activities.
In 2009 , DYUT was entered into the federal register “All-Russian Book of Honor”. In December 2012 , after the reconstruction, an observatory was opened, equipped with modern equipment, purchased as part of the Bank AVB PJSC charity program and the Tolyatti Foundation Charitable Foundation Citizenship Education [2] .
2013 , DYUT - winner of the gold medal of the National Prize "Elite of Russian Education" "Sergius of Radonezh" (For asceticism and public service) [3] .
At the end of 2013 , as part of the long-term target program “Children of the Togliatti City District”, new equipment was purchased for educational programs of a technical nature: LADA Granta cars, interactive and magnetic boards , computers , soldering stations, astronomical camera, projectors, designers, etc. .d.
DYUT became the first institution of additional education in the city, where a 3D printer appeared, purchased at its own expense. In 2015 , DYUT became the owner of a patent for a useful model of a device for long-term storage of products, authors of the development and copyright holders are teachers and pupils of the program “ Robots and Mechatronics ”, “ 3D Printing and Modeling ”.
The modernization of the material and technical base affects the effectiveness and quality of the educational process, the number of children and adolescents involved in scientific and technical programs is increasing.
In 2014 , the children’s children’s sports schools were awarded a personal prize by the governor of the Samara region for a number of victories at technical forums of research projects and a presidential prize based on the results of the all-Russian festival of theater groups for children “Theater Youth of Russia” [4] .
Good results are shown by the students of the educational programs “System and Applied Programming”, “WEB-master”, “Autoclub”, “ Russian Drafts ”, “ Rhythmic Gymnastics ”, military-patriotic club “Winged Guard”.
In the 2014-2015 academic year, the number of events and prizes increased by almost 19% (the 2011-2012 academic year - 139 events and 767 prizes; 2012-2013 - 147 events, 833 - prizes).
DYUT becomes the organizer of city, national, international competitions and competitions “SOLO +”, “Children of the Sun”, “Magic Ramp”, “Snowdrop” and others. The involvement of children and parents in social and creative activities and the implementation of the projects “My Coat of Arms” takes on more active forms family ”,“ Hello! ”,“ We are together ”, etc.

She headed the staff of the institution for 34 years since its foundation (1973-2007) [5] .
