Biography
Born in the village of Vasin, Toguchinsky district (Novosibirsk region).
Even in childhood, he began to play the accordion.
During the Great Patriotic War, he worked at electric workshops, was a student of film mechanics at the Pioneer movie theater, and took accordion courses at the folk art house.
After the preparatory courses of the paratroopers, he volunteered for the front.
After the war, he worked in the Siberian Folk Choir.
Since 1951, he has been working as an accompanist in the vocal group of the concert brigade at the Novosibirsk Philharmonic , in the same period he begins to compose songs.
Songs
Nikolai Kudrin created such songs as “Quail”, “Village” “Bread to the Head” and others. Under his song “Russian Boots”, the opening and closing of the Soviet trade and industrial exhibition “Expo-70” in Japan took place. One of the composer's latest works is the opera Geese-Swans, which he composed for the Novosibirsk Regional Puppet Theater . Kudrin’s songs are included in the repertoire of such groups as the Moscow Academic Russian Folk Choir named after Pyatnitsky, the State Academic Siberian Russian Folk Choir, etc.
Rewards
The composer was awarded the Order of Friendship of Peoples, Nikolai Mikhailovich Kudrin - Honored Worker of Culture of the RSFSR and “Citizen of the Twentieth Century of the Novosibirsk Region”.
Memory
One of the streets of the Kalininsky district in Novosibirsk is named after Nikolai Kudrin.
On the administration building of the Central Park of Novosibirsk, the composer has a memorial plaque. A festival is held in the same park, which is named after the composer.
At the Novosibkhleb combine, a recipe for bread was developed, which was named after the composer - Kudrinsky [1] [2] [3] .
